At Blessing Immigration, we help thousands of clients every year with smooth and timely processing of OCI Cards, FRRO services, PR applications, and more. In this blog, we’ll guide you step-by-step on how to check the status of your OCI application online, what the different status messages mean, and when you can expect your card.

✅ What is an OCI Card?

An OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card is issued by the Government of India to foreign nationals of Indian origin, allowing them visa-free travel to India, long-term stay, and other benefits. Once you apply for the OCI, you’ll receive an Application Reference Number (ARN), which is used to track the status of your card.

You can easily track your OCI card application using the official Ministry of Home Affairs website. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official OCI Website

Step 2: Click on "Status Enquiry"

  • On the homepage, find the “Status Enquiry” option in the menu.

  • Click it to open the OCI status tracking page.

Step 3: Enter Required Details

You will be asked to enter the following:

  • Application Reference Number (ARN)—This is a 13-digit alphanumeric number starting with "A".

  • Passport Number—The same passport you used for your OCI application.

Make sure to double-check the details for accurate tracking.
